Meet & Greet Potluck - Every Monday

I missed out on last week's potluck because I was out of state, but apparently it was a lot of fun. Thanks to Gooph, Casper, and Ether for running it for me. They had about 30 people show up, lots of great food and even some fire spinning!

Please bring a food item to share and BYOB. If you have extra plastic ware/paper plates, etc. kicking around, those are always helpful too.

Community potluck dinners are every Monday from 7pm - Midnight, with a fire going in the back yard, at the Bat Country warehouse. They have sprung up from a desire to build family and community connections in an environment that is less party oriented and have been a great place to meet new people, talk about ideas in the community, and enjoy some really great food. We've had people show off their new playa art projects, a magic show, and really cool "string technology" sessions. We have also had people show off some amazing cooking and home brew skills.

These meet & greet dinners are open to the whole community. Please come whether you are brand new or have been around forever.

If you have an instrument to play or you want to spin some records (turntables, ipod or computer only) on the sound system, feel free to bring them along. If you have pictures or stories to share from your burn, bring those. If you are working on a project, and want to show it off, bring it. If you just want to meet new people, bring yourself. :)
