GHOST SHIP III * http://www.cruiseyt.com/ghost-ship.shtml * 604.551.BOAT (2628) * $30 before Oct 13 / $40 before Oct 31st.Each year the Cruisey-T Party Cruise lines teams up with Vancouver's Kinkiest for a haunted cruise aboard the MV Brittania for a three-floor venue of dance, flirt, and haunting fetishy frolick. On its third year - hosting Goth, Industrial, and House with a real-life Dungeon play area down below, victims boarded at 7 pm and cruised around the harbour until the witching hour of midnight. The three dance floors were happening as were the chill out decks that gave passengers coastal views. This was my first and won't be my last as I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, entertainment, and kink. A light meal of steak burgers, salad, and chips was provided. The DJ's were fabulous. Partial proceeds went to Greater Vancouver Food Bank. A couple cash bars with lots to drink. Music by DJ's Pandemonium (Sin City, Sanctuary), Phaedra Phunk, and R-Lex spinning their greatest. Fantastic job! Great Job putting for throwing this great party Reive! Mesmerized and enchanted, and very tipsy ... I had a satisfying cruise. Thank you. Rating: 5 stars out of 5.

BC Fire Conclave Halloween PartyA fun and interesting house party held by what I believe was the BC Fire Conclave (fire troupe who goes to Burning Man every year for their part of the performances and holds alot of the activities in Vancouver involving fire performances, taking part in the lantern festivals, etc. (Correct me if I'm wrong Lori) They had converted their living room to a DJ room - spooky, yet ravy white fabric hanging from the ceiling converting the room into a rave dance floor, dj booth up front, spinning madness that the dancefloor was packed thicker than most clubs of that size. I tried to dance, but often couldn't fit on the dancefloor, so much that towards the end of my party stay, I wound up passing out on a comfy couch off to the side. The kitchen had a spread of food, munchies, and drinks ... unfortunately by the late arrival of our group, most of it was gone, though slowly being re-populated with chips n' dip. The back smoke patio had some of the most interesting conversations and some photo moments for Karen who photo-documented much of our weekend (thank you!). Great to see some of the Diva Garden girls I met at Burning Man this year including Erin who was still wearing her bunny ears .... good to see you! Though they confused me with my brother who I had helped tie up in the loungechair for 24 hours. Good times ....
