The newly formed Boulder Local Action Support Team - B.L.A.S.T.^ is heading into summer with some exciting projects and activities! Mark your calendar:

B.L.A.S.T.^
Sunday May 4th the 2nd annual Cinco de Playa creek cleanup ~ a civic-social-community project. 2:00 - 6:00pm at Cottonwood Creek trailhead, Independence Rd near Boulder Airport. Map - http://tinyurl.com/5cw97v
This is located on the bike path, biking or carpooling is highly recommended. Bring gloves, hat and work clothes - drinking water and trash bags provided.
This is part of Burners Without Borders Worldwide Clean Up Day!

Currently working with the City of Boulder, Western Disposal, and area residents to have a roll-away dumpster on site. There will also be additional info on B.L.A.S.T.^ and some of the upcoming activities. Bring your kids, Tell your friends, Make new friends! Future BLAST^ projects and events:
Hula Hoop workshop
Bike tune-up clinic
Community built public art
Mobile gardens... And lots of other exciting ideas.
