I am a virgin looking at going last minute. I have friends going from all over and it would be nice to connect with them. Plus I used to live in Tahoe and would like to visit my friends there. Does anyone need a ride to BM?

I'm a virgin looking for a Theme Camp (out of Boulder or Denver) to join (if possible). Let me know if you have a Theme Camp (or a ticket that I can buy) available. Also, what's the difference between a 6th Section ($360) versus a 5th Section ($300) camp spot in Blackrock City? Why do you pay more for the outer circle - because it's easier to leave?

I know that several of you are involved in BurnWorks, so I figured I should ask...

I'm working on sanding and repainting my bike frame and I wanted to know if anyone had paint recommendations or other advice for the process. Please drop me a line if you have some wisdom to impart!

Thank you from the PPP!

The Pink Pussie Palace started as four independent ladies wanting to share their passion for the community along with love within themselves. As with any theme camp “there’s a great story” and for us this weekend was one hell of an ending.

What an overwhelming Apogaea. From the unexpected guests with bad manners at the beginning to pulling off every thing we planned The Pussies of The Pink Pussie Palace would like to thank all of our patrons of Apogaea 08. We appreciate the support and enthusiasm for our camp over the last four years. As you all know it takes a lot of work and every year it was truly worth the effort. Thank you to the Tom Kats for joining the adventure and adding the Tom-catery to our little group. We say thanks especially to our Resident DJ Milk. “All Pussies love Milk” and he was there from the start and we thank him personally. Milkman brought together some of the funkiest grooves and this year was one of the BEST. Speaking of THANKS to all who shared their expertise behind the table-Yahya, Schmid-E, Earth, Xara Kitty, Eyeamone, Timmy and this years incredible additions of Ishe, Dirty Chavez, and the Incredible MLE!

We couldn’t have done any of it without help from overwhelming Pussie supporters and the list is huge. So please know that all who have come to our parties or lifted a whisker in any way we thank you so much.

There is always a reunion tour possible and we hope to continue rockin’ out with some parties in the future but for now we say “Long Live The Pink Pussie Palace at Apogaea-BM CO Regional. We look forward to supporting the next Big Pink (or Yellow, Or Ultramarine, Or Baby Diaper Green) Thing.

Meows and Hugs! We hope that you all made it home safe and warm.

Earth Day Eve at Burnworks 6:30pm

Greetings EARTHlings!

Join us at the Boulder BurnWorks Monday April 21st to celebrate the
eve of Earth Day 2008 with a film screening of "Trashed", a movie
about the fastest growing industry in the US- the GARBAGE business.
"The film examines a fundamental element of modern American
culture...the disposal of what our society defines as "waste." The
film analyzes the causes and effects of the seemingly innocuous act
of "taking out the garbage" while showcasing the individuals,
activists, corporate and advocacy groups working to affect change and
reform the current model. "Trashed" is an informative and thought-
provoking film everyone interested in the future of sustainability
should see"(77min).

Following the movie will be a discussion time and a short workshop on
recycling (and the other 2 Rs):
-how to recycle (with details on Boulder County and and overview on
Denver's recycling programs)
-the materials accepted
-proper collection and handling of materials
-how to particpate in recycling even if your community doesn't offer
curbside pickup
-how to become a savvy shopper in reducing your overall environmental
impact.

FREE and open to all ages Monday April 21st at 6:30- 9:00pm.
At BurnWorks- 4747 Pearl - Unit N+1, Boulder (Just a few doors east
of Swedish Motors, look for bikes).
Light snacks will be provided. Bring snacks and bevies if desired, a
camp chair or something to sit on will help make you comfortable.

If you can't make it but want to learn more, feel free to contact
Lavendyr (rbroyden at hotmail.com)

Hope to see you there!
