OPEN CALL TO ARTISTS: 2nd Fridays in Boulder
Hey all!
Thanks to everyone who came out last Friday to our inaugural Second Fridays in Boulder's new art district. The Phoenix Asylum and BurnWorks were abuzz with lots of folks checking out the router, figuring out the electric truck, sitting in Del's new shopping cart rocker and Tommy's ultra modern recliner, discussing art and hanging out with friends. Nearly a dozen artists showed and our movement is on the rise.
We want you to mark your calendar for the second Friday of each month.
If you are an artist working in:
--metal/fire arts
--SPOKEN WORD
--mixed media
--sculpture
--watercolor, oils, acrylics
--glass
--MUSIC
--any freaking medium under the sun
contact us if you want to have your art involved in next month's event. Get your project finished and get it to us! We currently don't charge a hanging fee and you can sell your art. This event will be advertised to the GENERAL PUBLIC. We estimate that we had over 80 people attend last week. Who knows how many will show up next month?
