Apo '09 - Last Minute Announcement
Yes, we are back with yet another Apogaea update. We will try to keep it short and to the point so you don’t get too bored with all the reading. Ready…Steady….GO!

ARRIVING AFTER DARK TO APO ? COME PARTY WITH US UP TOP!
Due to safety restrictions and hazardous layout of the land, after dark entry will be extremely limited.
We strongly urge you to get to Apo before dark. Anyone arriving after dark will be required to camp up top until the next morning. We want to avoid cars driving around at night, running through peoples camps and possibly causing injury.
Have no fear though, there’s a huge party going on up there. We have had a record number of Art and Theme Camp submissions, so there will be plenty to see at the top. OR, come on down to the lower field…on foot. It’s only a 10 minute walk.

Once the morning sun has dilated your pupils back to their regular size, you can bring your car down and set up your camp.
Please know that if you arrive after dark, the gate will be very slow and there will be a long wait and, we repeat, you will have to camp up top for the night.

PARKING AT APO
We said it before and we will say it again….parking will be restricted to designated parking areas only. Theme Camps will be allowed TWO Vehicles per camp.
If you’re worried about Bears – Stop by Mischief Yo’ Camp and pick up your “Bear Come Here, Go Away Kit” compliments of the Mischievious.
If you think this is a new rule, relax. We’ve been doing this for years, we just got a little lax last year and realized the chaos it cost.
And please, don’t worry, everything is going to be just groovafantastalicious.

PRE-APO BURN BARREL WORKSHOP – THIS SATURDAY! Bring a Black Magic Marker
Fire! Fire! - Come help us make burn barrels for Apogaea and make one for yourself!
$10 gets you a barrel and all the instructions to prepare it for your backyard. We would love to keep a few for Apogaea, and of course you won’t be charged for those, unless you want to donate the $10. Please bring a Black Magic Marker if you can.
When: Saturday, May 23, 2009 (Memorial Weekend) 12:00 Noon – 4:00 PM
