Every time I follow a link back to this site because someone has graciously added me as a friend, their profile page begins to open and then freezes and crashes Firefox. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? The problem seems to be with a script on the page that is trying to run.

ETA: magically, everything seems to be OK now. Stand by...

Click on Help/About Mozilla Firefox. What version are you running? I have been using Firefox with this site successfully since version 2.0.0.13. Current version is 2.0.0.14. You can do Help/Check For Updates from within Firefox as needed.

I have been using Firefox 2 and now Firefox 3 beta with out a problem. Try the Beta for Firefox you can get it form their main page now. it might help.

Yep, I've got 2.0.0.14, and run updates every time they're available. I only have problems when following a friend request link - when I force quit and then restart Firefox I get a message about a script that failed, but it doesn't give any specifics.

Since you said "force quit", I am guessing you are using a Mac. Which is cool since I am too. Does the problem happen in Safari as well? Only other thing could be a messed up Add on. Go to Tools/Add-Ons, and disable any add-ons that can be interfering.

Nope, I'm on a PC, but I'm a Mac person. Thus the cool-kid Mac terminology. :)

I'm using Firefox, and never have any trouble with this site. Maybe the website hates you personally. I like you a lot, but websites are unpredictable, cranky, bitches. Maybe it knows that your an "I.T. person". Tell it that your, "a candy-gram", or "just a dolphin" and see if it likes you better.

It knows I'm goth at heart and doesn't want me to have any friends. Ever. At all.

2.0.0.14 on XP or Vista.... ? I've been using XP without issue.

If its Vista, well, disconnect your computer and submerge it completely in a tub of hot soapy water, scrub throughly and air dry it for a few days before trying again... ....could be DWM ....Dirty Windows Monstrosity.
